Spring, if not summer is definitely in the air and we launch into it this issue with information on all the Pride events around the country.
We have reason to celebrate: the ‘goods and services’ regulations (protections - against discrimination in the provision of goods and services) came into law on 30 April 2007, following the final House of Lords vote on the on 21 March.
We’d like to mention that the evangelical Faithworks movement which runs a large number of service projects has welcomed the regulations and is confident that “they do not pose a threat to Christians.”

I write what I believe in. Interview with Manda Scott
 | “If others take the characters as role models, that’s fine, but it’s not the primary reason for writing."
Alys Henley-Einion interviewed Manda Scott, author of the Boudica series.
"Are you a historical writer, lesbian writer, woman writer, or just a writer?"
"I’m a writer. The adjectives are irrelevant."
